About Van Vaibhav Shikshan Mandal
Who We Are
Van Vaibhav Shikshan Mandal, Aheri, Tahasil Aheri, District Gadchiroli, is an organisation dedicated to promoting education and community development in tribal and underserved areas of Maharashtra.
The organisation was established in 1984 with the primary objective of promoting education among primitive tribal communities, Adivasis and inhabitants living in remote, hilly and densely forested areas of Gadchiroli District.
The organisation is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.
Our Beginning
The journey of Van Vaibhav Shikshan Mandal began with a clear purpose: to bring educational opportunities closer to communities living in difficult-to-reach areas.
Over the years, the organisation has developed a network of educational institutions covering primary, secondary, higher secondary and higher education, together with residential education, teacher training and student hostels.
Our Area of Work
The organisation’s work is particularly focused on the tribal and remote areas of Gadchiroli District.
Its educational institutions serve communities across areas including Aheri, Sironcha, Mulchera, Bhamragad, Gadchiroli and surrounding locations.
Our Approach

Our Community
The organisation works with communities where local languages and dialects such as Gondi, Madia and Telugu are spoken.
The organisation has also provided opportunities for local tribal boys and girls to work in its educational institutions, including teaching and support roles.
